Hybrid cabs provides for less fuel consumption
The rising cost of gasoline and petrol has been a blow to cab drivers all over the world. Sadly, there are no alternate options that are available for them today. Vegetable oil is hardly a substitute for gasoline. To tackle this serious problem, hybrid cabs have been introduced in several parts of the world. Hybrid cabs have two engines. One is a gasoline engine and the other is electric. Hybrids have turned out to be the perfect substitute for traditional cabs in several cities. One of the primary advantages of hybrid cab is that it can make use of its dual engine for better and controlled consumption of power. When the gasoline engine runs out, the electric engine starts functioning. Also the driver can make use of the gasoline engine when he has to drive fast. When he slows down he can shift to the electric one. So when caught up in a traffic there is no wastage of fuel.
